    The isothermal 2.25 inch black body target is manufactured to approximate an emissivity of 0.95, which is ideal for most industrial infrared thermometers. For increased accuracy, insert a 1/8" diameter precision RTD into the pre-drilled calibration well and connect to a precision reference meter.

  • IR-500 includes a 1/8" diameter calibration well for comparison calibration and to achieve higher precision. Insert reference probe into the test well and compare its reading to the infrared thermometer under test.
