Current Positions

Tech-Support, Electronic Repairs

Answer customer calls and emails for technical support of ThermoWorks line of electronic thermometers. Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, warranty service and make minor electronic repairs. Will train but any technical background is a plus. Good people skills are important. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, empathy and diplomacy. Will consider PT, 30 hours or FT, 40 hours for the right long-term candidate. Shift starts at 7:00 am. Pay commensurate with experience.


Technical Sales

You will be selling the professional temperature tools of ThermoWorks. The job includes making and receiving "sales calls" via phone and email to help customers select the right solutions to meet their needs in the industries of food service, food processing, pharmaceuticals, transportation, science and industry. You will be required to develop in-depth knowledge of temperature sensing, measurement and control technologies including data logging instrumentation and software applications. You must learn about typical customer applications and the industries we serve. You must be very competent and professional in all communications including voice and email. The customer must get something useful out of every contact with you. They should be happy you are calling. Follow-up skills and personal drive are important. While outbound prospecting will be needed, leads will come from our existing customer base, recent new web customers and from prospects that contact us for information. Our account development philosophy places a premium on the importance of turning one-time buyers into long term relationships. Although this is a consultative selling environment, we are looking for someone to be a high performer in monthly sales volume (can you close the deal?) We are willing to train on the technical aspects of the products but we prefer background in electronics, instrumentation or food processing equipment OR experience in the culinary or food safety fields. Professional selling experience is required.


In-Bound Sales & Phone Reception

ThermoWorks is looking for an in-bound sales person with a professional culinary background or a demonstrated expertise in cooking or baking. We supply the #1 rated cooking thermometer to commercial and consumer markets. You will answer in-bound calls, take orders, answer questions, answer emails and route some calls to other team members. You will interact daily with experts and newcomers in commercial foods, competition BBQ, home cooking and baking. You must be enthusiastic about the thermal mysteries of cooking and chilling food and anxious to give educated advice on the use of our fast and accurate thermometers. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional spelling and grammar. Your demeanor must be friendly and helpful.
