 With a resolution of 0.1°, an accuracy to ±0.5°C, and fast time to temperature, most industrial thermometers can be checked in about 10 minutes. It comes with a NIST Traceable calibration certificate so you can rely on it as a thermometer standard.
The 3004 has a unique block configuration. It includes a pre-drilled well for a 1/8” (3.3mm) reference probe and then a removable sleeve to size your probe to any size from 1/8” (3.3mm) to 3/8” (9.6mm) diameter. No other dry-well this size gives you this flexibility. For even higher precision, use the heat source to perform a comparison calibration with one of our high accuracy thermometry standards.
