Our new TW8060 is a simple-to-use 2-channel thermocouple alarm thermometer with convenient backlit display. An ideal cooking thermometer, the TW8060 can monitor your food item and the oven temperature simultaneously and alert you when it's done. Also records Max and Min temperatures of both channels so you'll know what limits were reached during your process. A handy tool in a small, compact package. Uses type K thermocouples so high temperatures are not a problem. Choose from hundreds of probes.

Great tool for BBQing. Insert one probe into meat and the other can be used to monitor the grill temp, or smoker. As featured on Alton Brown's Good Eats recent BBQ special "Right on Q" (click here to read more about it on our blog).

ThermoWorks Image 		This handheld probe with a 1/8" shaft and reduced 1/16" (1.5mm) needle tip gives you the exact same high speed probe stem as the Thermapen uses. It's the perfect combination of speed and durability. You get 3 second food or liquid readings. The reduced tip makes a small hole and is perfect for meats and general purpose kitchen use.

5" Penetration Probe

ThermoWorks Image		 This general purpose probe is popular in the food industries and is a little more rugged than the Fast Response Probe. The 1/8" diameter shaft is swaged to a smaller diameter and given a very sharp tip for easy penetration in most semi-solids. Probes are available in a 5" stem or a longer 12" stem, which is great for reaching over hot grills, into large ovens, rotisseries or deep pots; also suitable for liquids and air temperatures. It's very durable probe resists bending and breaking (for frozen foods consider heavier duty probes) and is recommended for hard daily use. Fairly quick response time takes only about 7 seconds to a complete reading.

This probe is perfect for grilling or smoking meats, its 78" cable is small enough in diameter to be closed in a home kitchen oven door and has a 90° bend. It's also ideal for general purpose use. When used with our pot clip, it makes a good stovetop probe for candy or indoor deep frying.

Smoke House Penetration Probe - Stainless Armour

ThermoWorks Image		 Penetration probe used by commercial smokehouses, and a good choice for deep frying turkeys. The 78" cable is covered by a flexible stainless steel armor and has a wider temperature range. It will survive longer than other probes when stepped on, manhandled, kinked, slammed in doors or exposed to the higher temperatures of outdoor grills. It should be protected from direct exposure to flames and should not be immersed past the stainless probe section. The armor is not easily closed in a regular home oven doors, so choose a different probe for standard kitchen use. You can still break this probe if you try, but it is the toughest probe available to backyard grillers.

The PTFE cable and sealed junction allow you to immerse the cable and probe in ovens or other cooking processes and can withstands over temperature so you can close the cable in an over door. The Miniature Needle Probe is a Great choice for Sous Vide cooking however, the cable can be damaged by direct contact with flame or if temperatures exceed 500°F. Available in two lengths.

There is no handle, but the stainless steel probe is still swaged and pointed and you get a 78" PTFE cable. This probe is a good choice if you want a budget solution or want a lower cost replacement solution. PTFE cable can be closed in oven doors although you'll want to avoid flames or temperatures higher than 500°F. Longer cables available upon request.

High Temp Industrial Probes

ThermoWorks Image		 The High Temp Industrial Probes go to very high temperatures and the stems are completely sealed against moisture. The mineral insulated sheath can be easily bent to any shape and is perfect for high temp ovens and furnaces, and are often used as long-term solutions to monitoring fireboxes and grill hoods. They can also be semi-permanently installed and will resist the weather and steam, The 78" cable is PTFE so it should be kept below 500°F, but the metal sheath section can go to 2,012°F! Available in two diameters, 1/16" or 1/8". The smaller diameter is faster and somewhat easier to bend. The larger diameter normally survives longer however, both should last for many years with modest care. Longer cables available upon request.
