We’ve sold a respectable number of these bright colored thermometers. They are easy-to-find in a cluttered plant or kitchen environment and maybe a little less likely to “accidentally” be taken home. The Food Check is a hefty handheld-sized unit with a full-length 5” probe. The probe tip is swaged then sharpened to a finer point than our Thermamite for easier penetration in a bigger variety of food products. The type K thermocouple renders fast readings in about 8 seconds to a full temperature. Notice that the probe is permanently wired and we calibrate it with the meter for better “system accuracy”. We don’t think you’ll find a better deal on this type of measurement quality and rugged durability. Make your Food Check even tougher by adding the optional rubber boot for drop-protection. The wall mounting bracket can be attached to a wall or equipment where the measurements will be made.
