This thermometer is an affordable end to arguments over temperature accuracy. We start with a high stability platinum RTD sensor rated at 1/10th the conformance limits of the DIN specification. The general purpose probe is attached to a high precision resistance thermometer that provides 0.1° resolution. The combination is calibrated as a system to minimize all errors and the final deviations are given for five temperatures on the included calibration certificate. Other companies charge this much for just the calibration certificate! In this accuracy and temperature range you can’t beat this value.
