Each unit features a pointed, general-purpose probe that is permanently attached and calibrated with the meter for the best "system accuracy". More accurate than the thermocouple version of the Thermamite, these units are chosen for applications where you can trade a little speed for a bit more accuracy. The big digital display is the same size found in larger handheld meters but the Thermamite is packed into a compact, palm-sized unit. Nothing could be easier to operate. Just switch the meter on and read it, no extra buttons to confuse the user. Order the Fahrenheit or the Celsius version. The reliable Thermamite 1 can also be recalibrated if ever needed.
