Start with the quality and features of the I.R.F.S. but add better accuracy, Type T thermocouples and adjustable emissivity and you'll get the IRT Combo Meter. You won't find better accuracy in a handheld infrared meter. You also won't find one that reads Type T thermocouples.

The simple mode button steps through each of the useful features found on the IRT You get min, max, diff, and avg readings. You can also set High Low Alarms to give a gentle beep if your reading does not meet the thresholds you set. In the emissivity mode, you can set the meter to read the temperature of almost any material.

When in the Probe mode, you get two easy-to-read displays. One for the reading and one for the thermocouple probe. You'd be surprised how complicated other combined units can be. Not here. The bright laser and the display backlight can both be turned off if you wish or left to come on during each use.

If you're a health inspector, food QA professional or a researcher, this is the best choice.

**EMC/RFI:Readings may be affected if the unit is operated within radio frequency electromagnetic field strength of approximately 3 volts per meter, but the performance of the instrument will not be permanently affected.
