This talking probe thermometer is perfect for dark conditions or those times when you can’t look at the digital display. The sight-impaired can use it for cooking, bath water, food, work and hobbies. The sturdy stainless steel penetration probe can be inserted in liquids, semi-solids or used for air temperatures. Readings are constantly updated on the digital display and each time you press the button, the current temperature is spoken in a clear, easy-to-hear voice. Simply insert your probe, wait a few seconds, then press the talk button for the current temperature with 0.1° resolution. Press it again to track changing temperatures.The white ABS case fits the hand nicely and the button is simple to use. An eyelet at the top of the case allows you to hang the thermometer in a handy place. Powered by a common 3 volt coin cell, battery life is normally up to six months depending on useage. An auto power-off feature turns the thermometer off after approximately three minutes to save on power.
