Platinum RTD Probes
The platinum RTD sensor generally provides better accuracy and long term stability than thermocouple sensors. Calibration labs and standards bodies use platinum RTD sensors as reference instruments when calibrating other thermometers.
The following probes are interchangeable and conform to the IEC 751 (DIN 43760) standard. All probes use a Class A 100 ohm sensor unless otherwise specified. 3-wire construction is standard. Provided with a 39 cable and a connector that fits our standard RTD Precision Thermometer, unless otherwise indicated (go here to order probes for the Digi-Sense ThermoLogR). Longer cables and custom length probe shafts are available on request. Other connectors, lead terminations, and 1000 ohm sensors are available on request.
