The AquaTemp 6 gives you great precision in a tough, waterproof package. Many waterproof meters fail because they use cheap, standard connectors. The AquaTemp 6 uses a high quality, corrosion resistant, precision socket with a self-latching plug. Once attached, your probe wont come un-plugged until you want it to. The 3-pin socket will stay free of crud and moisture and will resist corrosion much longer than other connectors. Electrical connections are gold-plated for precision. These connectors cost us more up-front but save us money in the long run due to lower warranty and repair rates.
Like our standard AquaTemp series, this unit is designed specifically for wet industrial conditions. The AquaTemp 6 stands up to rugged use in general food processing, food service and marine environments. The unique ergonomic design includes a rubber over-molded case for additional protection in harsh applications. The battery compartment features an integral rubber gasket and the probe hub is reinforced for strength.
Choose a probe (or probes) for your AquaTemp 6 from the selection shown below. The plug-mounted versions allow easy one-handed operation while the handheld probes feature a 39 cable. In addition to the choices shown here, we can offer custom probes at an economical price. Multiple applications are easily addressed by choosing additional probes.
There are no extra buttons to leak, stick, clog or confuse. Just a sealed-membrane styled on/off. A pleasant beep and a tactile response makes it feel like a button should. The large sized display is also easy-to-read, even if youve got slime on the thermometer. The food-safe blue and bright yellow colors make the AquaTemp easy-to-find. An auto-power off feature turns the instrument off after six minutes to stretch your battery life. You also get a clear visual and audible warning when the battery power is too low. A standard 12 volt MN21 powers the AquaTemp up to 150 hours.
If youve been frustrated with the short life of thermometers in your operation, the AquaTemp will save you money and time due to its dramatically higher survival rates. Give one a try! Each unit comes complete with a protective probe cover, a padded plastic storage case, battery, instruction card and a factory calibration certificate with data at two temperatures.

Order Probes Below:
Plug-Mounted Penetration Probe
This general purpose probe is popular in the food industries. The 1/8" diameter shaft is swaged to a smaller diameter and given a very sharp tip for easy penetration in most semi-solids. Also suitable for liquids and air temperatures. Very durable probe recommended for hard daily use. Fairly quick response time takes only about 8 seconds to a complete reading. Max temp: 482°F (250°C).

Plug-Mounted Penetration Probe, AquaTemp 3 and 6 |
|
|
Plug-Mounted Fast Response Probe
We start with an 1/8" shaft and reduce the diameter to 1/16" at 1 inch from the needle tip. This gives you a compromise between durability and the better speed of a needle type probe. Used in liquids and soft semi-solids including rubber, plastics and similar materials. A complete reading takes only 4 or 5 seconds. Max temp: 482°F (250°C).
| 133-612 |
Plug-Mounted Fast Response Probe, AquaTemp 3 and 6 |
|
|
Plug-Mounted Immersion Probe
The rounded end on this 1/8" diameter probe makes this a safer choice for liquids or gases when a sharp point is not necessary. Good general purpose probe. Max temp: 482°F (250°C).
| 133-603 |
Plug-Mounted Immersion Probe, AquaTemp 3 and 6 |
|
|
Plug-Mounted Air/Gas Probe
The stainless steel shaft is open ended with a ventilation hole provided in the sides to expose the bare thermocouple sensor to the outside for faster measurements of air or gases. Ideal for environmental readings, cold storage or HVAC work. Max. temp. 482°F (250°C).
| 133-604 |
Plug-Mounted Air/Gas Probe, AquaTemp 3 and 6 |
|
|
Plug-Mounted Surface Probe
Features a 0.32" diameter cylindrical head with a stainless steel ribbon. The thermocouple sensor is welded to the back of the ribbon. Max. temp. 482°F (250°C).
| 133-600 |
Plug-Mounted Surface Probe, AquaTemp 3 and 6 |

|
Exposed Junction Wire Probe
PTFE/PVC insulated, wire probe is suitable for air temperatures inside fridges, freezers, and other appliances. Max. temp. 212°F (100°C).
