Heavy duty weighted surface probe with stainless steel armor (to protect the cable from hot surfaces) for measuring accurate temperatures of hot plates, griddles and grills. It uses a robust spring-loaded design to maintain perfect contact with the surface for improved performance. Set the probe on any surface handsfree and the weighted probe will make constant contact with the surface keeping staff hands far away from the heat.
