The Therma 22 Plus Waterproof Thermometer is housed in a robust ABS enclosure to prevent water ingress during use, submersion, or wash down. With a waterproof rating of IP66/67, the Therma 22 Plus is ideal for harsh environments where even the probe connection needs to be waterproof.
Therma 22 Plus probes are configured with a Lumberg watertight screw-locking connector to keep the probe securely connected and waterproof. Select from any of our type T and Thermistor probes and the Therma 22 Plus will measure the correct temperature automatically without changing settings.
With thermistor probes the Therma 22 Plus delivers system accuracy of ±0.7°F (±0.4°C) or better*. This includes all meter, probe and interchangeability errors. Add a replacement thermistor probe later and you'll still be within spec. With thermistors, the Therma 22 Plus reads from -40 to 302°F depending on the range of the probe itself.
Our Type T Thermocouple probes are typically faster than thermistors, they cover wider ranges and we offer a larger variety of probe types. When reading thermocouples, accuracy is ±0.9°F (±0.5°C)*. Using thermocouples, the Therma 22 Plus reads from -328 to 752°F depending on the range of the probe. With a battery life of 10,000 hours, the Therma 22 Plus will never need a battery change.
If you're looking for a rugged meter with the flexibility of dual sensor types, this is the unit for your toolkit. You won't find a better value with this level of performance!

What is an IP Rating?
An IP rating, also known as "International Protection" or "Ingress Protection" rating, is a value assigned to a product that determines its susceptibility to ingress from solids and liquids. The first numeric digit relates to the level of protection against solid objects, and the second numeric digit indicates the level of protection against liquid ingress. Click for a table of IP Rating values.
IP65 - No ingress of dust (6); Protection from water ingress: Low pressure jets of water (5).
