This slimmer body and water-resistant transitions are designed to meet the high-temperature and humidity demands of competition steak and BBQ teams, but is also perfect for fish, shrimp, lobster, sausage, ribs, and all thin cuts.

Reviews

i bought the metal holders

"i bought the metal holders for the temp bbq probe for inside the smoker,. As soon as it heats up it expands and the probe fall out onto the grill. i use three of them in two different smokers so it is important to me. any ideas? i dont want to wrap anything around i. t it might effect the reading."

Essential for small or delicate proteins

"The small needle is required for a delicate protein like a fish filet. The larger one is more likely to pull out from the combined weight of the probe and cable. And like the other cables, don’t ever let it get too close to the element or get crushed in the oven door. Those things will cause it to fail, and it’s not repairable after that. I’m on my second one because the first one got pinched a bit close to the oven door hinge."

The probes were last weekend

"The probes were last weekend when I grilled chicken. I really appreciated the cable flexibility. I prefer these probes over the metal mesh-covered cable probes."

— Dale G. (5/5)

I like the smaller size

"I like the smaller size of this probe, meaning a smaller hole in the food, and the accuracy."

— Kevin M. (5/5)

I really like the 2. 5"

"I really like the 2. 5" mini probe. I've always had the longer ones and this one gets into my air fryer easier and I feel like I don't have to try to insert the probe as far into the meat as I used to with the longer probe. I Highly Recommend It!"

— GARY C. (5/5)

Needle Probe

"Much more convenient for thinner meats. Temp seems accurate."

— Joel H. (5/5)

GREAT PRODUCT!!

"Works Great, No Worries"

— Dan M. (5/5)

Short lifespan for a premium price

"I was initially quite happy with this probe, but after less than a year it has stopped working in my Dot—it either registers as “no probe” or gives a wildly incorrect reading. My other probes are all still accurate and going strong, but the lifespan of this probe is very short considering the price point."

— Amy (1/5)

Most probes make a large

"Most probes make a large notable sized hole. The needle probe is so small that you can barely see a hole. Also, the hole is so small there is absolutely minimal juice leakage."

— John S. (5/5)

Works as rxpected

"The device is exactly as advertised."

— James V. (5/5)
