Another Super-Fast innovation from ThermoWorks. The Super-Fast Mini reaches full temperature in 5 to 6 seconds with its proprietary sensor and reduced tip design. No waiting around saves chefs, lab staff and line workers considerable time.
Its splash-proof design and short, thin probe make the Super-Fast Mini a kitchen favorite. Store the unit back in the probe sheath and the unit turns off to save battery power. A 2.9 inch probe gets the job done for quick food safety tests or lab work while fitting nicely in a chef or lab coat pocket. Accuracy is better than ±1°F up to 212°F for better precision than most digital thermometers.
A convenient Max/Min feature is ideal for tracking holding and resting temperatures. The Auto-off allows 1 hour for logging Max/Min and then shuts the unit down to save on the battery. When you re-sheath the thermometer, the cover automatically switches the unit off. Combined with the 5700 hour battery life, you won't be worried about battery replacement at inconvenient times. The Hold button freezes readings so you can view the display later. Easy Battery Replacement
With a battery life of 5,700 hours you won't need to replace the battery very often. Unscrew the cap to expose the o-ring sealed battery compartment. Be sure to place the standard CR2032 battery ('+' side up) under the metal clip before seating into place.
