The ThermaCheck Plus is accurate, rugged, and versatile all in one sleek package. The meter and attached penetration probe are calibrated together as a "system" for accuracy better than ±0.5°F (±0.3°C) including probe errors.

A great instrument for any toolkit, the ThermaCheck Plus is waterproof to an IP66/67 rating so wash down and temporary immersion are no problem. Add an optional protective rubber boot (830-259) to protect the meter from drops and store the probe when not in use.

With an attached penetration probe you'll be able to measure most food items. Its rugged, ribbed handle makes applying pressure for penetration into solid foods much easier. And with a coiled cable you more easily be able to keep the probe cord from food traps.
