Check the performance of infrared guns quickly and easily with our new IR-500. It reaches an upper temperature of 932°F (500°C) in about 40 minutes. You set the display to the desired temperature, then point, shoot and record. It’s that easy.
The isothermal 2.25 inch black body target is manufactured to approximate an emissivity of 0.95, which is ideal for most industrial infrared thermometers. For increased accuracy, insert a 1/8” diameter precision RTD into the pre-drilled calibration well and connect to a precision reference meter like our P650.
Each IR-500 includes a NIST-Traceable calibration certificate issued from our own calibration lab. We also include the test data at 122°F and 212°F (50°C and 100°C). An optional 5-point calibration is also available to 752°F (400°C).
The IR-500 provides a stable blackbody source for certifying all types of infrared guns.
