Our new Mini Handheld Thermocouple (MTC) is sure to be a favorite in the kitchen, at the backyard grill, or out in the factory. It’s water-resistant, lightweight, and includes a type K thermocouple socket for use with virtually any type K probe. This is a true thermocouple meter for about 1⁄2 the price of any we’ve seen.
The MTC has a splash rating of IP65 so kitchen or factory use is no problem. With a large digit display you’ll be able to read temperatures anywhere in the kitchen. A magnetic back panel attaches to any metal surface for easy mounting.

Fast Response Meat Probe
Originally designed for measuring burgers, steaks and thin meat portions, this probe is often chosen for other purposes because it’s diameter is smaller than our handheld needle probe and it’s a bit quicker while leaving an even smaller hole. The 3.35" length allows you to reach the center of even a large burger when entering from the side, or it will reach the center of roasts for an extremely fast measurement. Fast Response Penetration Probe
We start with an 1/8" shaft and reduce the diameter to 1/16" at 1 inch from the needle tip. This gives you a compromise between durability and the better speed of a needle type probe. Used in liquids and soft semi-solids including rubber, plastics and similar materials. A complete reading takes only 4 or 5 seconds. Max temp: 482°F (250°C). |
