 The maximum temperature listed for the probes applies to the sensor itself. Plastic handles and thermocouple plugs are rated for short term exposure of 482°F (250°C) and extended exposure of 428°F (220°C).

Surface Probe
This easy to use surface probe features a 1/4" copper disc that is spring loaded and fit inside a stainless steel shaft. The shaft end is cut and bent into a tripod to aid in positioning the sensor flat against a surface. The wide range makes this probe useful in a wide variety of industrial uses. Max. temp. 1112°F |

Washer Thermocouple
Easy method to measure surface temperature permanently. The thermocouple sensing junction is located on a washer with a 1/4" diameter hole for bolting to the surface to be measured. Each probe is supplied with a 78" braided stainless steel cable for durability. Order with bare lead termination for panel meters or controllers or a mini-connector for plugging in to a handheld meter. Max. temp. 662°F |

Simple, no-handle probes cover a very wide temperature range. The mineral insulated sheath can be easily bent to any shape. In addition to general purpose immersion use, these probes are also perfect for high temp ovens and furnaces. Available in two diameters, 1/16” or 1/8”. Includes 78” of flat PVC insulated cable.
