Precision Surface Probe
This is the fastest and most accurate handheld surface probe we’ve seen. Readings generally take less than 5 seconds! The sensor is made from flat-spring ribbons of thermocouple material. Very popular in equipment servicing applications and in the plastics and packaging industries. Max. temp. 932°F

Right Angled Precision Surface Probe
Same sensor design as above but with a right angle bend in the shaft to improve access where the surface is hard to reach. Max. temp. 932°F

Roller Surface Probe
Uses the flat spring thermocouple design with roller wheels to allow use on moving surfaces and rotating rollers. Choose from stainless steel or PTFE rollers. Surface speeds should not exceed 100 meters per minute. Max. temp. 482°F

Griddle Probe
Heavy duty weighted surface probe for measuring temperatures of hot plates and grills. Stainless steel armor protects the cable from hot surfaces. Uses the flat ribbon spring sensor design for speed and accuracy. Though designed for the fast food business, this probe is used by many other industries where it would be convenient to set the probe on a surface and leave it for extended measurements. Surface Probe
This easy to use surface probe features a 1/4" copper disc that is spring loaded and fit inside a stainless steel shaft. The shaft end is cut and bent into a tripod to aid in positioning the sensor flat against a surface. The wide range makes this probe useful in a wide variety of industrial uses. Max. temp. 1112°F

Ribbon Surface Probe
Features a 0.32" diameter cylindrical head with a stainless steel ribbon. The thermocouple sensor is welded to the back of the ribbon. Max. temp. 482°F

Bell Surface Probe
These fast response surface probes have a bell-shaped housing with a thin, flat, stainless steel measuring disc, ideal for measuring surface temperatures. Max temp 500°F.

Plug-Mounted Surface Probe
Same as the Ribbon Surface Probe above but with no handle or cable. The shaft is mounted on a miniature thermocouple connector for plugging directly into type K meters. Available with straight or right angle tips. An optional detachable coiled or straight extension lead is also available. Max. temp. 482°F

Between Pack Probe
Rigid stainless steel sheath is flattened for insertion between packages of produce, frozen foods or other products. Slips easily between cartons or plastic bagged products. The tip is rounded to minimize accidental penetration of packaging materials. Max. temp. 482°F.

Magnet Surface Probe
Easy to use magnet probe is supplied with a 39" PTFE cable. The probe is ideal for measuring the surface temperature of ferrous metals. Many applications in the HVAC, appliance service, plant engineering and equipment research or manufacturing. Max. temp. 302°F

Washer Thermocouple
Easy method to measure surface temperature permanently. The thermocouple sensing junction is located on a washer with a 1/4" diameter hole for bolting to the surface to be measured. Each probe is supplied with a 78" braided stainless steel cable for durability. Order with bare lead termination for panel meters or controllers or a mini-connector for plugging in to a handheld meter. Max. temp. 662°F
