Combined with our Super-Fast Meat Needle Probe, the MTC will read food or liquid temperatures in only 2 or 3 seconds. Great starter kit. Order additional probes for grill or smoker temps or continuous monitoring. Includes a padded case to protect the MTC. This Meat Probe is very small diameter for speed and so the case will help you protect it.

Our new Mini Handheld Thermocouple (MTC) is sure to be a favorite in the kitchen, at the backyard grill, or out in the factory. It's water-resistant, lightweight, and includes a type K thermocouple socket for use with virtually any type K probe. This is a true thermocouple meter for about 1/2 the price of any we've seen.

What is an IP Rating?

The first numeric digit relates to the level of protection against solid objects, and the second numeric digit indicates the level of protection against liquid ingress.
