P. O. S
"Iâve always used Thermoworks for bbq and kitchen, love them! But this thing is a P. O. S. Called C. S. to return it 5 minutes after it was delivered. They were well aware of the known problem and told me I needed to pry the battery cover open with a screwdriver! I can do it , but my wife and daughter canât! Who wants to dig through a tool box in the garage when they have the flu?! Do better Thermoworks!"
I like the no touch!
"I like the no touch! I gave mine to a friend!! So, I needed to order another one for myself! It is so easy to use!!"
Off by 1-2 degrees
"Tested verses two other thermometers. This one was consistently off by 1-2 or more degrees. Super frustrating when itâs that amount that determines a fever or not for your child."
WAND review
"Was a bit disappointed with the WAND. The ""beeping"" is so low that it cannot be heard and thus not functional. Also, the apparent functions do not align with the actual performance. Meaning when you enable the sound (beeping), then the icons shows it as un-enabled. Took me a bit of messing around with the WAND to get the sound to be enabled."
Not accurate, I can't justify Thermoworks anymore
"My wand is highly inaccurate. I do NOT consider it a medical-equivalent device. For reasons I won't get into, my daughter is medically compromised and any fever over 100° requires hospitalization. Her nurse awoke me this morning early after getting a forehead reading of 103. 1° from her. I tested it on me (97. 2) and took hers again (103. 1). Because of prior issues, I put in fresh batteries and checked her again, 102. 7. We got her out of bed and packed for the hospital and when we arrived, they took her temp and got 100. 1. I had packed the Wand and immediately checked it again, 103. 1°. She actually is sick and does need to be here for a day or two but the discrepancy on a device marketed as a ""Professional Class II Medical Device"" is unacceptable. Our Wand lives in a thermoworks case and has never been dropped. I have tried with Thermoworks, I really have. I love the format and features of the products but I have had poor luck across the board. I replaced my Thermapen with a Thermapen One when it died. I am awaiting my second replacement Thermapen One as both units developed identical semi-circular case cracks to the right of the screen. One Node died after a failed firmware update. My Signals unit works but I bought six pro probes with it and four of the six have stopped working with no visible damage. When not in use, they live on Thermoworks spools in a Thermoworks Signals case. When plugged in, two display temps below 0 and two display temps between 20 and 30° F in a 70° room. They have never been in the dishwasher. It feels like I am wasting money buying more probes or products. I really wanted the RFX but I just can't bring myself to buy it expecting more product failures."

Great Product
"Tis the season for illness! I have several ThermoWorks products and every one of them are trustworthy and accurate! The wand thermometer is no exception! Most reliable for checking to see if someone is running a fever!!"
Forehead wand
"Trying to get into the battery compartment was not easy took a screwdriver to pop the back off, should not have been so hard to open it as far as working seems to be working correctly"
