I have a couple of
"I have a couple of thermowork products already. They all work great and are fast for temperature taking. My latest purchase is for a Christmas present. I have not used yet I’m sure this will be another great addition ."
This has been a game
"This has been a game changer for tracking or vaccine temperatures and has saved us a lot of money with a power outage we were able to detect. I would 100% recommend this product for any place needing to keep vaccines and medicines (or any temperature sensitive things) safe."
Overall I think the product
"Overall I think the product is great and super handy for me to check temps when I'm not in the restaurant. I wish there was a setting so that Sessions were automatically set everyday to get a better look at the graph and can clearly see data from any day. This would allow us to have a clearer view of when temps spike and drop and catch potential maintenance issues before they happen."
Nice Product - Sends Alarms - Good App
"I like this temperature node. It was easy to setup. The app is easy and works nice. It sends alarm to my phone. I’m happy with it and would buy it again."
We bought one for our
"We bought one for our walking cooler & freezer. A complete life changer not having to drive to our business every day checking the temps. I wish we would have purchased sooner"
Another Node In Play
"Just bought my third unit. Two temp/humidity and one two-port unit. All three are in-play all year monitoring different situations, acting as part of multiple monitoring devices per situation."
Works perfectly
"Works as advertised, all with the Thermoworks quality you come to expect. I love how all the Thermoworks Wi-Fi devices show up in the app. It was ver easy to set up and now I can monitor ambient temp outside my freezer and internal freezer temp via the probe, and get alerts!!"
NODE WiFi single probe
"My NODE Wi-Fi Temperature Monitor has one probe with an ambient sensor. I use it for a freezer which keep the temperature at 0 degrees F. I wanted a low temperature alarm of -10 F, but the keyboard that popped up to enter this value wouldn't let me enter the "-" sign. I was able to do a copy/paste from another text editing app to accomplish this, tho. Other than that, this monitor has been working flawlessly."
Failed when I needed it
"The device worked fine when I didn't need it. I could check temps , great. But it does NOT allow continuous notifications . Only one notification sent. If you miss, too bad, you are out a fridge and freeze full of food. it then it doesn't It sends another one when it is back in range?????!!!! Think it through Thermoworks! My fridge went out, it didn't go back in range. Hundreds of dollars wasted in food and th messy cleanup, ugh. Not to mention the money I wasted on 6 of these units. I have since purchased other brands with continuous alerts. Very expensive lesson learned"
Didn’t receive it

Q&A
- Can the node be put into a chest freezer on its own or does it need a probe?
- NODE is safe for use down to temperatures of -13° F. However, placing a NODE inside the freezer will reduce the efficiency of the batteries and may interfere with Wi-Fi connectivity. For best results, we would recommend installing NODE on the outside of the freezer and running the included probe into the freezer.
- Is there a monthly charge for the app or the subscription
- There are both free and paid tiers of ThermoWorks Cloud available depending on your needs. The free tier will allow up to 10 devices.
- I have a well house, would this work that? I would like to know the temperature inside, especially during the winter. If so, would I need the one with the probe so the probe would be inside and the Node on the outside. If so the Node would be out continuously in the outdoor elements. If I just put the Node in the Well house, I was wondering if it will still be able to connect to WIFI?
- NODE would be an excellent solution for this as long as the temperatures in your well house are within the operating range (-13 to 122 °F). If your smartphone can connect to WiFi inside the well house, NODE should be able to connect as well.
- Will this work to measure high temperature in the attic?
- Yes, NODE can be used in the attic. The NODE is rated to 122°F. If it is getting hotter than 122°F, we do not recommend leaving NODE in your attic.
- Do the models with probe ports come with probes or do you have to buy them separately?
- Yes, any NODE model with probe ports ships with the corresponding number of probes.
