In stock

The 8100 pH Meter Kit comes complete with a high-accuracy 8100 pH meter, interchangeable glass pH electrode, temperature probe, calibration solutions and convenient padded zipper carrying case. An ideal field pH solution.

The 8100 meter features a dual LCD display of both temperature and pH with an accuracy of ±0.05pH. It measures from 0 to 14pH with a resolution to 0.01pH and temperature from 32 to 212°F (0 to 100°C). With an included temperature probe, pH readings are automatically temperature compensated for optimal performance and user convenience. No external temperature devices required.

For quick, daily pH calibration, the 8100 re-calibrates itself automatically with the touch of a button when using standard pH buffer solutions. Each kit includes two 100ml buffer solutions, one at 4.01 and one at 7.00pH.

The 8100 pH meter is a professional tool built for daily use.

Important to Know:

  1. The electrode should be soaked in electrode storage solution before the first use.
  2. The electrode should be stored with solution in the cap.
  3. If unused for an extended period of time, the electrode needs to be rehydrated.

Canning

"Works great for canning. Lets me know ph level then i can decide if i need to pressure can or water bath. PH of 4. 6 or lower is good for water bath."

Adam (5/5)

Fast, works well, expensive.

"I'm primarily using this to tend to my plants. I did not buy this for preparing food, though I'm sure it would work fine for that purpose as well. What I like most about this meter is how quickly it can settle to a final reading. With other meters that I've used, it could be as much as a minute before things had settled. This unit usually gives me a solid reading in less than 10 seconds. What I'm lukewarm about is the recommendation to calibrate it daily. There's nothing I'm doing that requires that level of pedantic maintenance. The only thing I don't like is the leads for the temperature sensor and the probe. They are two different lengths, which makes no sense to me at all. If anything, I'd like to tie wrap the leads together so they're easier to control and keep organized. The lengths being so different is what makes that difficult to do - I'd have to leave a long length on one end of things."

Excellent & easy to use!

"Excellent & easy to use! I would definitely recommend!"

Seems to be accurate

"It holds calibration better than most handheld units I've had. I will remark on dependability when and if it holds up to the job."
