Signals is a Wi-Fi–connected, four-channel BBQ control center engineered for long, low-and-slow cooks. Use it as a standalone monitor at the grill or connect to the ThermoWorks App for real-time graphing, cloud logging, and remote alerts from anywhere. BBQ professionals rely on Signals as their operational hub, managing multiple proteins and pit temperature with full visibility across every channel.

Monitor up to four probes simultaneously with ±1.8°F accuracy and independent alarms for each channel. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® stream live temperature data to the app, while physical buttons and a large backlit display maintain full control without a phone. Commercial-grade Pro-Series® probes deliver fast, accurate readings, and the rugged splash-resistant housing withstands demanding outdoor environments. Pair with a Billows® fan to automate pit temperature control and maintain steady heat during extended cooks.

Reviews

Bluetooth Weak

"I like the unit and the app with the exception that it loses connectivity with the phone when you're still relatively close to the main unit. I lose connectivity in my garage and my offset smoker is in the bakc yard. I thought part of the promotion of the unit is the fact that it has strong connectivity. And I use Google fiber, a very strong internet"

Very disappointed

"Therm said burgers were 155… they were raw."

Charging Port Failure. Costly Repair.

"I bought two of these units (one in June of 2023 and one in November of 2023) for use in BBQ competitions. I have used the units in 30 BBQ competitions in that time frame. At the end of 2025, one of the units became difficult to charge. It would take putting the included charger into the port at a very specific angle. I began to see similar issues with the other unit during practice cooks in early 2026. At our first competition of 2026, both units failed and could not be charged. I have tried both of the included chargers on both units and neither work as anything but costly paper weights. I reached out to customer service and was informed that my $500 worth of thermometers were out of warranty and could be sent in to repair for $99 each. No thanks. I will just buy a competing product. Two years of usability is just unacceptable at this price point."

Very impressed

"When I was looking at these I honestly didnât pay attention to the actual size of them. I was expecting 1 1/2â to maybe 2â in diameter. When I got my package today I was like wow. 3. 75â in diameter and very well made. Very nice that it has a magnet as well. I was just wanting a couple of these so my temp probes werenât all natty like last years Christmas lights haha. Definitely will be picking up 3 more for my other probes. Excellent product."

Signals great, cloud/app needs more features

"The Signals probes and transmitter works great. The Android app and cloud web interface could use some data analysis tools. For example the ability to select a time interval and have a regression done. A simple linear regression could be used to predict when a target temp would be reached. Or a logistic regression could predict the stall temp while smoking a brisket."

Tarn B. (5/5)

Good for a couple of seasons if left out all year

"I have multiple probe spools that stay outside in my enclosed grill area all year. I think maybe it's the winter cold, but one by one they are falling off of the metal they are stuck on. They become hard and the magnets wear out. It's happening to them all. I may have to switch to an alternative hard plastic spool. Disappointing because they seemed sturdy when I got them."

Great Thermometer

"Worked flawlessly! Used it in my smokehouse thatâs located at my cousins place, hooked it to their Wi-Fi and was able to monitor my summed sausage from home. The only issue with it is the battery (only 4 star) I had to leave it plugged into outlet while in use. That features it has is great, love the charts! Also great customer service, I paid for 1 day shipping and it didnât arrive on time, I emailed them on a Saturday afternoon and within 5 minutes I received a reply and they refunded my shipping fees. Highly recommended product!"

Neb S. (4/5)

Works Perfect for wired probes

"Along with 6 RFX Probes, I found an additional need for a Smoke Unit which uses wired probes and the spool works perfectly!"

John A. (5/5)

great device with one rare problem

"I have had the signals for two years with the billows. It works great. I used it probably 20-30 times. On three occasions it froze. I was told by tech how to reset it and that worked fine. The problem is you might not know that it is frozen because the signals continues to show numbers on the face and on your cell phone that are not changing. The signals continues to drive the billows with these erroneous numbers. When it's working it is a game changer."

Tom S. (3/5)

Good, but could be better.

"One size does not fit all. Suggest making versions to cradle & protect straight and curved prob ends. It is the cable at the prob connection that is subjected to severe kinks and abuse."

Q&A

What dose HHH mean
HHH could mean a couple of different things. Either the temperature you're reading is above 572°F, or the probe or cable is damaged. You can give our Tech Support a call if you have any questions. 801-756-7705
