Great thermometer for hiking and camping.

"Bought two of these just to have a spare or use elsewhere. Quite surprised at how quick it adjust between different temp zones. I like that it reads either right side up or upside down. So far, I've been impressed. I got one in yellow so it was easy to find and one in purple because, well I just like purple."

Love these little guys

"We use these thermometers to monitor the temperature in our RV refrigerator. They are perfect for that job. After three years, one of them needed a new battery. Put the thermometer in my pocket to install the battery later. Without checking the pockets, dropped the jeans in the wash. One wash and dry cycle later, I put a new battery in it and it works! A great little product and tough too."

you should post more information

"The manufacturer's info is misleading by omission. Just tell us: 1. How long does it take to register ambient reading? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? Many people have the same question and complaint. Your description should be honest. 2. Do we have to turn it off or does it have an auto off feature? Can you just say which it is in your description? I tried to read reviews to figure this out and I still don't know the answer. Yes, for $25, this info should be open and available. Thank you!"

slow to change, failed after a couple years

"I bought one of these because of how much I love my ThermoPop, and expected it to have similar responsiveness. Not so. Every time I looked at it, it seemed like it was showing me the temperature from like 15 minutes before when Iâd been in the car, or before Iâd come indoors. Then after a couple years it just started showing HHH on the screen intermittently. If I bumped it, it would then jump back to the correct temperature. (Also, not for nothing, but the split ring that ships with it is nearly impossible to install because itâs tiny and the hole it goes into is massively offset. You have to bend the ring to an absurd degree to get it on there. Not a great experience. )"

Thick and easy to clean.

"I recently bought a cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer. The basket or pan is really hot, and I hate to have to lay a bunch of pot holders down to protect my countertop. I bought 2 of these, and lay one next to the toaster oven to set my baking sheet, or air fryer basket on. I do wish they made a larger one for a large casserole dish, but as I bought two, I will just lay then side by side. Most mats only protected to 350 degrees, but these protect up to 600 degrees."

Lightweight easy to use

"Bought two for winter camping, one for the inside and one for the outside of the tent. Chose this over a âsmartâ sensor/app solution because itâs lightweight and shows temp in a display. Battery is replaceable CR2032 (standard type you can get anywhere). Variety of different colours to match gear or as high visual contrast so you donât lose it. Will recommend -not waterproof, would be nice to measure water temp (in lakes etc) or leave it hanging in the rain. ."
