Great protector. . BUT
"I like the fact that Thermapen has manufactured a protective boot cover for the ‘ONE’ thermometer, but there are issues. Unlike the boot for the former Mk4 thermometer, it has only one rather than two magnets and when attached to a refrigerator, swings die. To rest in a vertical position. I prefer to have mine rest in a horizontal position and two magnets would be necessary for that. Also, I punctured the front of my boot (see pic) with the tip of the ‘ONE’ probe. The boot is extremely difficult to slide in and I wish you could put a lubricant on the interior to facilitate the installation, but that would be messy. Overall though I think it provides great protection and the ONE is the only thermometer on the market that I’ve seen with a boot of this type."

"We love our thermometer. My hubby accidentally left our first one one a warm glass too burner and melted it. He was so upset I got him another one for Father’s Day. Best thermometer ever. We had our first one for about 10 years. Love the silicone magnetic boot and keep it on our fridge we use it for everything can’t beat this instant read! Well worth the money!!"
