"So far I've only used one time but very happy I decided to buy. It was a relief not to have to keep taking my food out of the oven to check the temperature. I like my meats medium rare but I was always leaving them in the oven a little too long, this time I had the perfect amount of pinkness. My only wish was that I had more directions on setting up the Dot and how to correctly place probe wires. Maybe a few more pictures on oven placement of the probe wire on the website or YouTube directions."

"Purchased to check oven temperature. Works beautifully. I also am exploring with ways to use the probes in my baking, meat and fish dishes and at the charcoal grill. Now I wonder how I served perfectly cooked food without it. Very pleased with the product. The online marketing is a bit annoying and I wish it would stop."

Fit for purpose, now I know my oven temp is out!

"Simple to use (after reading the instructions), magnetic back perfect for the edge of the oven. I had to replace my oven's thermostat recently and now I know the dial is 20degreesC wrong! I think the oven clip for the ambient sensor could do with some improvement - it functions, but for (my) oven racks it kind of slips around. Only used the internal for quick checks so far, but that is practically as good as my thermapen for a fast reading. I wish I bought a zip case, the probe wires are stiff and do not behave when trying to stash them back in the box. Otherwise great!"

Great Bathtub Thermometer!

"I had a somewhat unconventional use case. I wanted to be able to measure the real time temperature of my bathwater while it is running so that I can make adjustments and make sure that it was the right temperature in the end. The ThermoWorks employees were very helpful in determining what might work. I bought the Square Dot and two of the waterproof ambient probes and itâs working perfectly. The two separate probes allow me to measure the front and back of the tub. I know that this is not a usual cooking use case, but itâs working great for what I need."
