The Therma 22 delivers extra versatility and precision by reading two professional sensor types. Choose our precision thermistor probes for higher accuracy or the Type T thermocouple probes for faster speeds and a greater variety of probe designs. The Therma 22 automatically recognizes the sensor type so there are no settings to change.
With the thermistor probes the Therma 22 delivers system accuracy of ±0.7°F (±0.4°C) or better*. This includes all meter, probe and interchangeability errors. Add a replacement thermistor probe later and you'll still be within spec. With thermistors, the Therma 22 reads from -40 to 302°F depending on the range of the probe itself.
Our Type T Thermocouple probes are typically faster than thermistors, they cover wider ranges and we offer a larger variety of probe types. When reading thermocouples, accuracy is ±0.9°F (±0.5°C)*. Using thermocouples, the Therma 22 reads from -328 to 752°F depending on the range of the probe itself.
Both probe types use the same Lumberg screw-locking type connector. Made for rugged industrial use this connector keeps your probe from pulling out of the meter while preventing contamination by dust and grime.
Battery life is an incredible 10,000 to 20,000 hours depending on your predominate sensor choice. Each unit includes a NIST-Traceable certificate of calibration. Optional Test Caps can be used to test the meter accuracy in the field.
The Therma 22 is a great instrument for food service, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and critical research or industrial use.
