"Works as advertised!"
Great probe
"I got two probes with my first Chefalarm, but never used the thin one. I didn't know what it was for. When I bought my second Chefalarm, I didn't get a thin one, but the literature talked about it, and I saw its value. Before, I always overcooked my ribeyes, but since I started using the probe on thick ribeyes and pork chops, they're perfect every time."
Pro Series probe
"Be careful not to bend the narrow needle. It seems to pick up the signal a faster. Seems good."
Needle probe
"Amazing accuracyâ¦love it for steaks and burgers"
In consisted temps
"Can not understand why so may different temps"
Great
"It works good . Accurate I compare it to my thermopen."
Great Product
"I love these probes! They are super easy to insert and very easy to clean. Indeed, they will not last as long as the braided cable probes, so I always keep a few extras on hand. They also don't kink and twist like the braided probes."
Wire separates from probe.
"I bought this probe because the one that came with the thermometer broke after two uses. It crimped so badly it busted the wire, I guess. Happened to me twice because I have two of these thermometers. So, I bought this one. Well, I have had three or four of these now and the silicon covering separates from the probe exposing the wires making it easier to fail."
Perfect
"I bought one of these for use with thin cuts of meat. I really like the flexible silicone encased cable. Paired with the DOT it's the combo I use the most."
Great for bread baking
"I love this probe for baking bread. Bread goes in the oven for 20 mins, then I rotate the pan 180 degrees and insert the probe. Bread is done at 195F. No more trying to figure out what my bread sounds like when thumped on the bottom. Comes out perfect with no obvious hole"
