Pot clip review 1
"Used with fish fry oil. Worked as expected. No issues."
Fits but doesn't clamp down tight
"Fits ok-ish in most pots, but the probe wire pulls the probe to the side / back anyway. The clip is not tight in any way, so even the light weight of that wire or a gust of wind can get the probe pulled out of whatever liquid you've got brewing in that pot."
Useful
"Very useful and sturdily made pot clip"
Doesn't stay attached to my pots.
"Chef Alarm is great, pot clip is garbage, it doesn't stay on the side of any of my pots. Please give your loyal customers a workable clip for candy making. I'm not interested in holding my Thermapen over molten sugar until I get to the correct temperature. I have the Chef Alarm, Thermapen, Thermapen One, and Thermapop. Right now I use the Chef Alarm and a silicone holder I purchased from another company."
Very good, not perfect
"It's a good clip I use it for making cheese or any time I need to monitor the temperature of a pot of oil for deep frying like a Dutch oven. However it doesn't seem to allow the probe to reach very deep into the pot, it puts it at an angle."
BEST ALARM EVER
"Every cook should have this alarm. Don't know how I got along without it for years. I now use it when I bake bread or rolls. Just insert into the middle. You don't have to open oven to check temp. Perfect, of course, for any kind of meat you bake or roast. Prime Rib and Beef Tenderloin come out perfectly. No guess work. It will save you money and prove ""you really are the best cook"" :-))"
