"Easy to hook up and use. The 1. 5” connect or does not thread properly. Only turns 2x and stops. I tried another adapter and it threaded fine so the angle of the thread must be different or incorrect. Everything works ok but it seems like it is not matched correctly."

"So part of my review is my fault part is not. My fault is I faced it partially up when I installed and it rained a little bit and not it doesn’t work anymore. The part I don’t like is that it doesn’t connect or show up as a device on my RFX app which is disappointing and it is not adjustable on the temp, 225 is the preset and I don’t cook at that temp so It wouod not have been a good fit for me anyways."

Needs improvement
"Got the billows and paired it with my x4 thermometer. Set up took a second as I didn't follow the instruction link at first and had wires reversed. Once connected it worked well. However, the BBQ still needed air so I had to play with lids to get airflow. In the future I will be adding a new hole to the BBQ for the billows so I can retain my damper vent. As the fire box heated up, so did the billows gasket. Eventually it smoked and melted. The face of the billows where it connects to the BBQ also melted slightly. Overall it paired well with the thermometer and did its job. Temperature held much more consistently. However it increased the charcoal consumption. Overall I'd give it a 3 or 4. If it hasn't melted, 4. With some mods it definitely gets a 5. Plan is a new port on the grill with new fireplace gasket. After that it should be a great addition. Product needs more in the field testing to eliminate these basic issues. As soon as I pulled it out I knew the foam gasket would never last. Overall satisfied with first use. Don't thrilled I have to kos it right out of the ge box though. Better gaskets, and some kind of better mounting would go along way. Also some simple instructions that don't require internet would be nice."

- No, Billows does not have a variable-speed control. It does automatically manage a few things, such as pulsing when the temperature being read is close to the set temperature.
- Does the pillows BBQ controller work on Pit Barrel smokers
- Yes!
- I was cleaning my Weber kettle and as I was cleaning supplies and water come out of the Billows attach to my grill. Did I ruined it?
