"I bought this to replace a cheaper IR gun that I got just as an entry point. After realizing that there is an absolute necessity for a device like this with many of the cooking projects I do, I upgraded. This particular IR gun is fairly substantial and seems to be more accurate than the cheaper gun I have. I got a great deal on it while I was on sale, and I'm very happy with the purchase."

Now we can have wonderful thick juicy steaks without them turning into shoe leather. The chicken is moist and not overdone. This gauge is remarkably easy to set up and use.
