This kit combines the MTC with our regular Super-Fast probe. This is the same thermocouple found on our popular Thermapen. Reads in 3 to 4 seconds. This probe is more durable than our meat needle probe and a bit longer while still giving fast readings. The reduced tip section of the probe is 1/16" diameter. Includes padded zipper wallet.

Our Mini Handheld Thermocouple (MTC) is sure to be a favorite in the kitchen, at the backyard grill, or out in the factory. What is an IP Rating?
An IP rating, also known as "International Protection" or "Ingress Protection" rating, is a value assigned to a product that determines its susceptibility to ingress from solids and liquids. The first numeric digit relates to the level of protection against solid objects, and the second numeric digit indicates the level of protection against liquid ingress.
