TempTest 1 automatically rotates the display to the best viewing angle without pressing a button. The display rotates in 90° degree increments to read temperature in any position and in either hand. TempTest 1 incorporates a button-less, Smart backlight that turns on automatically to read digits in low light conditions. A built-in sensor constantly monitors ambient light levels and switches the backlight on when needed. You'll always be able to read the display in any light condition.

With a fixed Super-Fast reduced-tip penetration probe, the same used on the Thermapen, you'll get readings in 3 seconds or less. Measure with an accuracy to ±0.7°F (±0.4°C) and cover a full range from -58 to 572°F (-50 to 300°C).

TempTest 1 is designed for commercial kitchen use with a waterproof IP67 rated housing and optional rubber boots for drop protection. The tight-fitting silicone boots are color coded for food safety and cross contamination protection. Kitchen splashes and inadvertent drops in the sink are no problem.
