No Longer works
"I have the Thermopop2 and had been very satisfied with the product UNTIL…. The battery needed replacing and although I have purchased the correct battery it no longer works. I have tried two different batteries from the new pack and can’t get it to work. Plus it’s not the easiest to get the cap replaced."

"I have bought the ThermoPop for gifts in the past. I like the newest version that has a built in light. Very clear to read the temperature. I first learned about their products on a TV cooking show -- the ThermoPop was highly recommended -- the product proved this with my first use of it!"
Pop2 did not last to a year.
"I loved the original thermopop but its battery door broke and water ingress broke it, it was about 5 years old so I thought fair enough. I bought the upgraded pop 2 and noticed that it uses a screw to secure the lid, great, I thought. Until it was less than a year old, it started acting weirdly as it would not stay on and stuck at F instead of C. I thought it was a battery issue so opened it up to swap out - and noticed that there are moisture inside, even though it was never opened. There seems to be an O ring in the design but it was out of place, must be why it broke."

- Yes, you can! ThermoPop® 2 is a quick read thermometer, and can be paired with a [Hi-Temp Silicone Pot Clip](https://www.thermoworks.com/products/silicone-pot-clip). This helps hold it on the side of a pot and use it similar to a candy thermometer. The 8in ThermoPop® 2 is recommended for candy making use.
- not sure I am using thermopop currently. I seem to get hight readings. What is the correct way to use it?
- Make sure you’re inserting the tip fully into the thickest part of the meat (not the surface or near bone) and give it a couple seconds to settle. If you slowly pull it through, you’ll find the true internal temp.
