The Industrial Infrared Thermometer is a professional infrared thermometer loaded with features to make accurate IR measurements in the plant, lab, office, and the field. Now with circle laser targeting!

The Industrial Infrared Thermometer is equipped with a circle laser, which allows you to better approximate your target area without the guesswork of a single laser. This infrared thermometer has an adjustable emissivity feature, which allows you to measure a variety of surface types. For poorly lit areas, the infrared thermometer's backlit display can be toggled on (or off) for easy reading of surface temperatures.

The Industrial Infrared Thermometer includes a thermocouple socket for use with any type K thermocouple probe. A two line display shows infrared and thermocouple measurements simultaneously. And, with a 30:1 distance-to-spot ratio, the Industrial Infrared Thermometer allows you to measure small target areas from further away (1 inch spot at 30 inch distance). This keeps the lens cool when measuring hot surface temperatures.

The Industrial Infrared Thermometer's display features include Min/Max, Diff. Mode, Avg. Mode, Hi/Low alarms, and continuous scan mode with a large main temperature display, which reads in °F or °C. It's everything you need in a professional infrared thermometer.

Kit includes the meter and our most popular probe, model 303-159 (PRB-K-159) Fast Response Penetration Probe. No substitutions.

  • Circle laser for better targeting
  • Professional IR tool
  • Bright, backlit display
  • Max/Min, °C/°F, Avg, High/Low Alarms
  • Reads type K probes
  • 30:1 optic range

Overall good tool to measure surface temp

"Like the tool. Takes me a few minutes how to remember how to operate it if itÃâs been awhile since last used it."

Love it!

"Love my infrared thermometer. I can just point and shoot to see how my meals are cooking. ItÃâs great for indoor or outdoor cooking. We recommend them to one and all. Makes a great Wedding or Housewarming gift. Even Birthday or Anniversary gifts, come to think of it."

IR Meter is Super Handy

"We love our IR-IND Meter and use it for temperatures on our skillets, grill and griddle. We now get perfectly done French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches."

Christine K. (5/5)

Great for Griddle Cooking

"Great when you need to measure griddle surface temperature and the temperature of the food. I replaced it for that with the Thermapen IR. It's main role now is measuring the stone temperature of my Ooni Pizza Oven."

Les P. (5/5)

Excellent product

"Easy to use. Accurate. Fun to have in the kitchen (e. g. , to answer questions like, ""Just how hot is that frypan, anyway?"") and to play with around the house when I'm curious about temperatures or temperature differentials. I would recommend this product to anyone who's interested in getting a non-contact thermometer for surface-read temperatures."

Great Meter!

"Quality built meter at a good price. I haven't owned it long, but so far it's very accurate and consistent. Customer support is terrific as well. Buy with confidence."

ONE OFMY MOST VALUABLE TOOLS

"My wife and I both are avid cooks and we use the gun and the probe constantly as we use stainless steel and cast iron to cook with and there is a little difference. We do a lot of grilling, smoking, and also have a large ""flat top"" or gas griddle for everything from Chinese food to Rueben sandwiches. The gun allows us to tune the different sections of the griddle to exactly what we need. I have even used it to test the skin temperature when doing a whole pig and it turned out perfect. Testing the surface temperature before applying paint to a new boat hull made a big difference and also for glue up when building. ANYTHING WE NEED FOR PRECISE TEMPERATURE READING WE WILL GET FROM THERMOWORKS AND I RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND NEED PROPER TEMPS DO THE SAME. . . Ãâ¦."

When you need it. . .

"Very capable instrument but the controls are non-intuitive and the instructions less than stellar. Particularly how to turn off the unit. Reading between the lines, it looks like you don't. It shuts off after 60 seconds in ""hold"" mode but after 60 minutes in ""lock"" mode. I think. (Notwithstanding the instruction to ""turn off the unit before changing batteries. . . "") Once past the learning curve, it's great."
