Wish it was better

"This is the second unit I have had. Some of the issues with them. The holding magnet is just barely strong enough to securely hold the unit in place. Also, the cables should be longer to accommodate the freezer on the bottom and allow for an eye level view. If you attach the unit to the freezer it forces you to bend over to read it. Also the display should be able to accommodate a vertical orientation. I have many ThermoWorks products and this one is the weakest of the bunch."

magnets so weak that the product is nearly useless

"Unusable, if what you want to do is be able to read the temperature of your refrigerator and freezer. You can put it on top of your refrigerator, but then you can't read it. Or you can put it on your refrigerator, and watch it slip to the ground. Garbage."

Great Fridge/Freezer Temp

"Gives me good temperatures. Could be improved on: ~ Magnets are not very strong. I have to put on door side otherwise it slides down the fridge. The other Thermoworks Dot/Square Dot etc. , attach fine, these are quite weak. ~ Hard to read at night Serves the purpose so I cannot complain. I have many ThermoWorks Products and extra probes for almost everything I need. So quality is there."

Lost fridge full of food because of weak magnets.

"I put this on the side of my refrigerator and put probes in the fridge and freezer to warn against high temperatures. The magnets of this are very weak and the slightest touch the thermometer can fall of the fridge. The thermometer slid off and hung blocking the door so when I closed it the door didn't shut and was open all nigh. Ironically, the thermometer that was supposed to prevent loosing food to high temps caused me to loose all the food in the fridge."

Works great. 9nly thing i

"Works great. 9nly thing i wish the leads were a little longer to be able to route them out of the way when you open the doors"

Nearly Perfect

"The only thing I don't like is that the instructions are on the package, so if I want to adjust something I need to look them up, as they are not completely intuitive. Other than that, great!"

Works well as a thermometer

"We get a lot of power outages, so wanted a way to know what temperature my chest freezer full of meat would be without having to open it. I put one probe near the bottom, below some meat and one probe at the top of the meat pile. Works great as a thermometer. I haven't setup the alarm function. The magnets are a little weak, but I just tapped it to the exterior. I also like that the wires are very thin, I held them in place with electrical tape and they do not impact the seal of the freezer at all."

Leslie S. (5/5)

Accurate Temperature Readings

"Very accurate simultaneous readings of both fridge and freezer temperatures. Haven’t set the alarms yet, as the probes may have to be moved to get a more true readings."

Timothy (. (5/5)

"I assume itcwill be the samecwuality as other Thermoworks KS products, but the printed directions need to be on a piece of paper with the font large enough to read."

Andrea (3/5)

Seems acurate, but poorly designed

"The magnets on this fridge magnet are so cheap and weak the thermometer just lides down the fridge or falls of fron the slightest touch or even closing the doorto hard."
