"I am in Love! I havcen't figured out what the smallest size will work for - but these are great for my cast iron skillets that want to be fully sealed by a lid. It's a little messy when you remove them - because the condentation isn't directed into the channel of the lid and/or the sides and down into your pan/skillet. But the benefits of each lid being able to fit multiple pans/skillets far out-weighs the that detractor."
Nice Lids, but Limited Use
"The lids are heavy gauge and well made, but they cannot seal a pot or Dutch oven because they flex easily and allow steam to escape. A lot of steam. The use is limited to applications where you might want something covered, but it isn't important to catch and retain moisture."
I got these to be
"I got these to be a lightweight solution to all the various pan lids I have that take up so much space under the counter. In that, they work great. But I did not realize that they were not stiff enough to hold their form. In other words, when picked up by the handle, the lid folds. This makes it impossible to put the lid on with one hand. Using a lid one-handed is important, particularly when you want to check the state of a cooking dish, stir it, grab something with tongs. Yes, you can lift the lid one-handed (sometimes), but because of the fold, hot moisture drips from unexpected places, making a mess on the stovetop. You still have to put down what's in the other hand to spread it out and place it back on the pot. Very inconvenient. Speaking of taking it off, it often suctions to the pot, so you can't get it off safely one-handed using the handle. So you're left to pry open one side, resulting in steam pouring from there, often scalding your fingers. I do not, do not, recommend these lids."
Too Many To Store
"I could use the 12" and the 10" lids for my cast Lodge cast iron skillets/fry pans only. Our All Clad 10 piece SS set all come with lids. IDK where we would store the remaining lids."

Purchased When 1st Released @Full Price
"I had been looking at some cute "fruit/flower/leaf" shaped silicone covers for several years, but one lid was as much as Thermoworks' complete set. And it is not high heat safe, either. I have been a Thermoworks customer for a LONG time and was confident in quality and performance of their products, having NEVER a need to replace any, other than to upgrade. In years past this was my go-to for gifts for family and friends that cook inhouse or grill. I didn't but this item for stovetop/oven lids per se, but for counter, refridge, microwave use. All sizes are consistently in use, from dough rising or ferments, bowl coverage in fridge or out on the grill/patio table to keep dishes warm, or bugs out. They have replaced the microwave cover and plastic wrap, along w/all the paper towels, napkins,and paper plates we used to prevent splatters. I use the two smallest as potholders and leave them sitting on top of lids to frequently lift, add, and stir, or temp check as it cooks. Same in the oven, but don't leave on top of Dutch or roaster lids. I leave them draped over the handles and/or of the hot cast iron as it cools as a reminder. Occasionally if stir frying , or a quick stovetop heat I'll pick one up to use as cover. I continue to find uses for them. I store them in a large Mason dough bowl flat side down. Am quite pleased with my purchase and don't mind that I paid full price. And so will you! Worth EVERY penny. Thanks Thermoworks for superior product and great customer service. I will be back...."

"I bought this set because of some bowls that none of my existing reusable lids fit well. The first time I tried the silicon lid, I had a seal so great I could raise the bowl off the counter top! (don't try this at home). This is an amazing product. Easy to clean, easy to store and I like the array of sizes in the set."

- I agree with another questioner. I don't have much use for the big lids. Wish I coudl buy with more smaller ones and no largest.
- Having extra smaller lids for daily prep and leftovers would be super handy. While our Universal Silicone Lids are currently only available in the pre-packaged 8-piece set, we are sharing your request with our product development team for future set configurations!
